Chelsea Green, Director of choirs

Ms. Chelsea Green received her Master's in Music Education with a focus in Ethnomusicology at University of Colorado at Boulder. Her research focuses on choral performances practices and implementation of world music pedagogy at the secondary level. Ms. Green maintains professional memberships with the American Choral Directors Association, National Association for Music Education, Georgia Music Educators Association, North Carolina Summer Institute of Choral Art, and Professional Association of Georgia Educators. 

Ms. Green began her teaching career at Five Forks Middle School in Lawrenceville, GA, where the program grew from 85 students to over 300 in four years. Her choirs consistently earn superior ratings in both performance and sight-reading at Large Group Performance Evaluation and Southern Star music festival. 

Ms. Chelsea Green currently lives in Marietta with her two dogs, Chase and Yuki.
